Can I link the earphones to multiple devices?

Yes! Our entire collection of wireless earphones support pairing to several devices at once.

The Sensible Free Roam Wireless can actually link each earphone independently to a separate device, too, so you can link one to your phone and one to your tablet, or whatever else suits your life.

How good do the headphones sound? Are they loud enough?

Every single model of earphones we offer have a clear, defined sound with and a crisp high range. For bass-lovers, the Sensible Luxe Wireless and Sensible Free Roam earbuds have very loud and heavy bass. The standard of sound we chose was that of Apple's wired earpods or the earphones that come standard with most Samsung/LG/HTC mobile phones, since that's what most people use anyway. Our products compare favorably well to these.

How is the quality of the microphone during phone calls?

We know most people don't really care about the microphone since they use headphones predominately to listen to music and/or podcasts or watch videos, but if you're like our company's founder and do happen to care about the mic quality during phone calls, you can rest assured knowing that each one of our products have microphones that provide acceptable voice clarity to whomever. Based on user feedback and our own internal tests, the Sensible Free Roam earbuds and the Sensible Luxe Wireless earphones have very high-quality microphones.

What level of noise cancellation can I expect?

The industry-leading standard is CVC 6.0 noise cancellation (which reduces ambient background noise but is not the same as soundproof. Most soundproof headphones are over-the-ear rather than in-ear). The Sensible Luxe Wireless, Sensible Sport Wireless and Sensible Free Roam Wireless all offer CVC 6.0 noise cancellation.

Are any of your wireless headphones waterproof?

Yes, our earphones are certified IPX-4 sweat- and water-resistant, but not submersible. They'll handle moisture from sweaty workouts and adventures, as well as rain, just fine, but don't go swimming or surfing with them.

Will these work with my new iPhone 7?

You betcha!

What about Android phones?

Of course :)

What about my other devices?

Uh...what other devices even exist besides iPhones and Andr...JUST KIDDING! If your devices support Bluetooth 4.1 (like most modern devices do -- sorry original iPod and GameBoy Color), then YES, you can connect Sensible's wireless headphones to them.

Where are your headphones made?

All of our products are manufactured in China in the same regions where some of the well-known, high-end brands are made.

What's the difference between headphones, earphones and earbuds? Is one term more correct than the other?

Honestly, we use headphones and earphones interchangeably. We consider our Sensible Free Roam model to be earbuds, but they technically qualify as earphones and headphones too, we think. So, we don't know. But if you do, please feel free to let us know!

I NEED in-the-studio-producing-the-Mike-Jones-comeback-album quality sound, but don't want to shell out a bunch of money. What do you recommend?

While we don't currently offer anything studio-grade, we can point you in the right direction. If you're okay sticking with wired headphones (yeah, this kind of goes against our whole philosophy...in fact this whole section goes totally against our advisers' advice, but we don't care because we think it's important to share), then check out the KZ-ATE headphones which are highly recommended by WIRED Magazine (okay, we seriously didn't intend this pun...is this even a pun? It's really late as we're writing this...) and you can get for under $20 on Amazon. That's not an affiliate link, so we don't make money if you buy them. In fact, we probably lose money since you may choose those over our products, but we're okay with that because if you're down for wired headphones, those are the most sensible.

What kind of packaging will my order arrive in?

Right now, all orders arrive in simple and efficient packaging to save on costs for something that will just end up in the trash anyway. We then pass these savings on to you, our beloved customers. We believe in utility and being sensible, after all. However, since we're suckers for good branding and design, we are currently exploring ways to improve the packaging and delivery experience without adding extra costs to our products.

How can I pay for my order?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, PayPal and Apple Pay. 

Will I be charged tax on my order?

The Sensible Company is required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to California. If you are shipping to California, the tax will be automatically added to your order and will appear on your final order confirmation.

Can I cancel an order once it has been placed?

Unfortunately, your order cannot be cancelled or modified once it is placed. Please refer to our return instructions to find out how to return your order once you receive it.
